Hello i am working on an axial flow fan rotating(73.68 rad/sec) inside a long casing of approx. 3 m length fan is installed at around 1.5 m inside casing.casing openings are at atmospheric pressure.i am doing analysis of only fan i am having static pressure of -11pa and total gauge pressure of 6pa at inlet of fan and static pressure of 12pa at outlet of fan.but results are not matching with the experimental results did i given correct boundary conditions? below is an idea of set up
casing fan casing exit opening inlet outlet (atm pressure) (atm.pressure ) (-11pa) (12pa) computational domain only fan inlet &outlet. |
