Gambit startup prob

Hi everyone,
I've been having trouble starting Gambit on a winXP system. The error i'm getting is --- [gambit] Cannot open connect stream. TRANS(SocketINETGetAddr): tnamebysocket() failed TRANS(SocketINETConnect): TRANS(SocketINETGetAddr) () failed TRANS(Open): transport open failed for tcp/fluentmachine3:0 Unable to open display Gambit was running ok on this m/c till yesterday when the system suddenly hung and had 2 be restarted...any suggestions??! thanks! |

uninstall and reinstall Exceed I've got the same issue this week

I have been trying 2 do tht and now i get an error saying.. Error - Cannot create directory C:/ProgramData/HummingBird/Global/Accessories
This happens midway thru the installation and i'm not able 2 proceed frm here...I have already uninstalled the old appln so i don't think that's the issue... any ideas?? thanks! |

|
open your xconfig from exceed and got to your exceed 3d and GLX settings, in that disable the opengl option and restart your exceed. Than open the gambit.
