Passing Average Temp from Outlet to Inlet

Hi
I'm running a transient simulation looking at tank mixing. I need to cycle the fluid by passing the average temp at the outlet to the inlet at each time step (different shape and size for outlet and inlet). What is the most effective way? Thanks in Advance Steve |

Hi Steve,
you will have to write a UDF, especially a DEFINE_PROFILE macro. Within this UDF you have to compute the average temperature at your outlet and patch this value on the inlet. Have a look at the udf-manual, it's not that difficult. cheers Max |
