I have read from this forum the procedure to setup shocktube and i followed the same ...such as setting up with L/D=10, unsteady, 2d, implicit, patching two different pressures in two zones and having one interface as interior. all this setup worked and the result showed me as converged but the CFL value had to changed from 0.5 to 500 gradually along the way of 200 timesteps in order to get convergence.
Finally, It says it is converged. When i try to plot the result, the fluent gives me the following error message. FLUENT received fatal signal (ACCESS_VIOLATION) 1. Note exact events leading to error. 2. Save case/data under new name. 3. Exit program and restart to continue. 4. Report error to your distributor. Error Object: () I am using 64bit computer with 64 bit Fluent/64bit XP and the drivers of 2003server? Does this have any problem? Does this mean the result has not converged.? Does anyone know how to contact Fluent? Please help thanks |
