Hi. i have a question regarding the creation of a boundary layer around the 2d cylinder. when i create the boundary layer it becomes pointed near the rear stagnation point. i want to create a dense boundary layer so i have kept the following parameters in GAMBIT: first row=0.00003 growth factor=1.15 rows=20 when i increase the rows boundary layer becomes more distorted. i would really appreciate if someone can help meto create aperfect boundary layer. thanks

hi,
then try to reduce the first cell height i.e. instead of first row=0.00003... increase its value... may be 0.0003 for any problem this fine ness is more than sufficient. ok try this,. |
