Kolmogorov turbulence time scale

I need to figure out the smallest (Kolmogorov) turbulence time scale of my simulation (unsteady, LES, segregated)
Thee Kolmogorov turbulence time scale is defined by ε and ν ; So I need to find a way to compute the average rate of energy dissipation per unit mass (&epsilon, and kinematic viscosity of the fluid in fluent (&nu ? Thanks in advance! |

May be u could use Custom Field Functions (in define menu) and define your variable... and visualise variable with contours.....

Try writing a UDF for it. Actually its not necessary to reduce to Kolmogorov scales in LES. To work on those small scales you must have Re^(9/4) points in free space. So you must first start with making the mesh very refined. You must have a lot of memory and computing power to work that
