Can GAMBIT edit element or nodes ?

I am a beginner looking for a meshing tool for CFD (FLUENT, in particular). GAMBIT is recommended by many friends of mine. But can GAMBIT manually edit elements or nodes ? My work will involve a complex geometry. I expect difficulty in meshing, which I may have to fix it manually. If GAMBIT cannot do it, what tool should I look for?
Thank you very much. |

Hi,
what is a "complex geometry"? For really complex geometry use a third party tool for surface meshing and T-Grid for volume meshing. Regards |

hi,
Gambit can't edit elements & nodes but Tgrid has the capabilitiy to do so. you may use Tgrid as secondary meshing tool. |
