Memory issue - Suse 10 - Opterons

Folks, We have a cluster with a dual CPU master node and 16 dual cpu slave nodes. We are not sure Fluent is the issue here but.... Problem seems at least somewhat associated with Fluent jobs that dump core. Currently Fluent is the only app we are running and in the past we did not see this problem when we run GASP.
We seem to be having a memory issue. Some program or programs are taking Master node core memory and not freeing it. We dont seem to be able to fix the problem except with a reboot of the Master. Anyone run into this before? Thanks - Andy |

Use Fluent v6.3.35. F6.3.26 parallel has processor affinity issues on multi core cpu machines. Processes are not spawned equally.
