Hi Ethan_Sparkle
I had the same problem. I found that this is possible to be done by CFX. you can define as many periodic B.C.s as you want in different directions with any option (mass flow or pressure) in the interface section |

Hi everyone I'm modeling an elliptical bank of tubes with a pitch angle of 60 degrees. As it can be seen in Figures I'm modeling a periodic zone with mass flow periodicity in left and right and a zero pressure drop periodicity for up and down. Considering that the flow may change its direction because of the pitch angle of the tubes, the flow may pass through the upper boundary (and also comes in from the lower one). in this condition is "zero pressure drop periodic boundary condition" true?
If not what is the alternative choice for upper and lower boundary condition (because it can't be symmetric due to the geometry)? Thank's in advance. |
