Hi, mates,
I am managing to use Flamelet model to simulate diffusion flame for liquid fuel, such as heptane, octane ect. Two files, that is, the reaction mechanisms and thermodynamic properties, are required to creat flamelet file. Even I got some relevant reaction mechanisms, they are too complicated to be adopted. If you have some files employed for this model, would you please give me copies? I really appreciate your help. Thanks a lot. |

My experience with these fuels shows that they have a very complex kinetic mechanisms. I suggest that you look for surrogate fuel kinetics. A good source for papers in this area is the international combustion symposium
