Hi,
I currently simulating a pintle injector by using propane injection. I experiencing a very weird phenomena which cannot be explain by theory. I running with 7 Bar pressure propane injected into chamber with 0 Bar pressure ( both is gauge pressure ). and the mass flow rate is around 1.7g/s when i try to run with 7 Bar pressure propane injected into chamber with 3 Bar pressure ( both is gauge pressure ). and the mass flow rate is around 3.2g/s I think this doen't make sense in theory of choked flow since downstream pressure shouln't effecting mass flow rate. my inlet and outlet is 0.13mm and throat is 0.11mm The path of the injection will have a turning around 45 degree before it goes into throat. Anybody knows what is going on? i wish to investigate more on what had happend but have no idea how to investigate. Please help me on this. Thanks!! |

Hi I'm trying to simulate pintle injector but its not geting coverage could you teach me how to simulate this type of problem?
Im using multiphase with water and air Water with 0.5atm and air with 80m/s Using couple with courant 40 and it's steady flow J.j.jokar1997@gmail.com |
