temperature problem with non-premixed combustion

Hello all.i simulate gas combustion using the PDF mixture fraction model,DO radiation model(fluent 6.3). i got a converged result, but the temperatue is about 200K higher than the normal situation. i checked the grid and the models, i dont know why this happen. please help me, thank you very much!

Hi vic yang,
I am also working in non premixed combustion only, please can u tell me what is PDF means in non premixed combustion, for me its is showing PDF20, please clear my doubt...... With regards, Kolam |

Hello Kolam,
As for the PDF mixture fraction model, you can see the help of fluent. As far as I know, the PDF20 you said maybe mean that there are 20 species in your PDF-mixture.Good luck. Sincerely, Vic |
