Default FLUENT shows higher head on the turbine

Dear All,

I simulated the Francis (hydro) tubine. The rated head of the turbine is 48 m but with simulation in FLUENT the head coming out is 68 m.

I tried different viscous models, different sets of mesh as well as different discharge correspond to different guide vane positions but in all the cases the resulting head comes out as 68 m but the actual head of the turbine is 48 m.

Can anybody help me? What could be the reason for such large deviation?

Waiting for earliest reply.

Thanks in advance

Regards

Sanjay
