hi everybody,

does anybody know how to set variables for aforementioned model and what some of them mean? 1. Mass flow rate [kg/s] is the total mass flow rate through my falt fan nozzle. Is it?

2. width is the thickness of the jet near the nozzle exit. Is it?

3. half angle is probably the half of spray angle. ?

4. Where should I put the arc position.

Anyway, from manual it is not clear how Fluent calculates the velocity and the most probable diameter. I would expect, that Fluent also calculates flow area.

does anybody know how this works? I appreciate any suggestions.

thanks, H.B.
