Default open channel velocity

Hi I am trying to simulate 2D unsteady open channel flow with boundary conditions as Inlet: pressure Inlet, Outlet : Pressure outlet. I had provided the velocity at inlet as 0.45 m/s. After running the simulation for long enough time the flow velocity reduced to 0.3 m/s. I have good refined mesh. I am not sure how to overcome this. Can anyone help me with this.

Thanks. Rayan.
