Setting static pressure as the inlet BC

I am trying to set a pressure inlet boundary condition in Fluent 6.1 I want to specify the static pressure at the inlet of the pipe. But Fluent only asks for the Total Pressure at inlet boundary. As soon as I run my pipe flow problem some dynamic pressure is developed and it reduces the static pressure at inlet keeping the total pressure at inlet to be equal to the value set as inlet boundary condition.
Is there a way to constraint the static pressure at inlet? Thanks. |

Prescribed Pressure Outlet as your inlet plane and set your static pressure, then the static pressure should remains constant.
