Hi everybody,

during iteration FLUENT indicates the follow messages after the first time step:

"! 114 solutions is converged"

What does it mean?

My iteration setting parameters are:

- Time Steps Size (s) : 3000 - Nummber of Time Steps : 0.0001 - Max Iterations per Time Steps: 150

Does anybody know how to deal with this messages?

Thank you very much in advance

Hai Duc

You wrong Time Step size must be 0.0001 Number of time steps 30000

What does it mean in term of the result of simulation?

I do not understand this case because I only want to iterate to 300 ms. A Nummber of time steps 30000 should iterate to 3 s. It will take a lot of time.

Thanks you for your advice

decrease the time step size further appropriately also, check the appropriate scale of your geomtry using Grid--scale

The correct is:

My iteration setting parameters are:

- Time Steps Size (s) : 0.0001 - Number of Time Steps : 3000 - Max Iterations per Time Steps: 150

I have mistook Time Steps Size for Nummber of Time Steps. But the indication of "114 solution is converged" is still avaialble.

Does anyone know why? Does the result affect from this?

Thank you very much in advance

"Solution is converged" just means, that the solution reached the convergence criteria (after 114 iterations). You can set these limits under Solve->Monitor->Residuals.
