Hi, I'm tring to build a khi model using Fluent. I know that I need to use the vof model. I have created two sections, upper and bottom (for the two layers), but it seems that I cant define the phases in the boundry condition. I keep getting a mixture of the desinties. How do I define the layers ? I want that one layer will be on top of the other. Thanks.

If you want to define the phases, you have to patch the region you need with the phase you did NOT initialize. With the boundary conditions you can just influence the phases on inlet or the back flow on the outlet. The easier way is to define the phases when generating the grid for example: Bottom section - fluid1 uppersection fluid2 then you have these 2 fluids as `zones to patch´ in the patch-panel. hope that helps Gernot
