hi every one : does any one here have a UDF for calculating the erosion rates under DPM method. I appreciate any ideas and I have the UDF manual but the only example there is for 2D-axis-symmetric only. So I need erosion UDF for 3-D utilization. thanks, shehab

there is already a built-in model in DPM (check the Fluent user's guide 6.3, Sept 2006) where you can find the details. however, if you can improvise according to your requirement, you need to write UDF indeed for the same. Check similar UDFs done in Fluent's UDF manual, Fluent 6.3, September 2006. It is not diffcult to incorporate the z-axis. the UDF example is also kept generalized, not for only axis-symmteric case only. this should be good starting point for your numerical work.
