Default infiniband interconnect help

I am trying to run fluent 6.3.26 parallel on a cluster with an lsf batch queue system. Everything works fine when I use the ethernet interconnect, but when I try to use the infiniband interconnect, my out files gives the message:

Error: "ib" hardware not available on this system

There is an infiniband interconnect, though. Also, the error file reads:

line 9: /usr/local/topspin/mpi: is a directory

This is the directory of the mpi libraries for the inifiniband. I am not sure what to do at this point. Is there some way to load the libraries into fluent myself, or is there something else I should do entirely?
