importing chemkin file

Hello, who can help me solve this problem: when i imported chemkin mechanism file to Fluent, Fluent automatical change the unit to SI, but some strange things happened, i.e. for the reaction: H2+2NI(s)=>2H(s) the pre-exponential in (cm, mol,s ) is 1E-2, then I think should still be 1E-2 in SI(is it right?), but in Fluent, the pre-exponential became 3.621e+14....... the temperature exponent is 0 in chemkin file but became 0.5 in Fluent. why did this happen?
Another question, some one said the formula for the conversion of pre-exponential (A) is A (SI units) = A (cgs units) / 10^(3*(sum_sto-1)) where sum_sto is the sum of the stochiometries of the reactants. The question is should the stochiometries of site species reactants also be taken in to the sum, i.e. for the reaction CH4 + NI(s) => CH4(s), the pre-exponential in (cm, mol,s ) is 4.283E+023, then what will it be in SI? Thank you very much for reading my questions. |
