Dear Friends,

I am doing fire simulation using species transport(volumetric heat source)in Fluent.I have selected methane-air mixture for this case. Can any one tell me that how the mass fraction is assigned? Is this air-methane mixture is suitable for predicting CO and fire somkeor any other mixture is better than this? I know CO in mg/m3, how to give it in terms of mass fraction?

Again heat release rate should be 2MW.Is it needed to assign HRR at the walls?

thnx in advance,

Vishal
