Default Help! Using VOF to solve droplet heat tranfer

I try to simulate the temperature variation of a thick horizontal wall as the cold liquid droplet impact onto it. Evaporation is not considered. I used 2D VOF with energy equation to perform the simulation. The boundary condition of the wall is set to coupled. Though the temperature variation of the droplet can be observed after the droplet contacts with teh wall, the temperature inside wall keeps unchanged. Can I use VOF to solve the liquid/solid conjugate problem I mensioned above? Because I need both temperature variation inside the liquid and solid after liquid droplet impact with solid surface.

Thanks
