Hi,

i want to simulate a stirred tank.I've defined the stirrer as moving wall, rotational. Now i have to define the rotation axis origin. Which point excatly is meant by this? I can define a x-value and a y-value. Thanks for your help!

green iran is on a distinguished road
i think u made some wrong.as far as i'm concerned for simulating a stirred tank in 2D, there are 2 methods:
1- using velocity date which means u don't need MRF any more longer, u just need to fix a zone for impeller with proper BC
2-MRF method which in this way u gotta divide your domain in 2 section one rotating and the other stationary.but u have to stick in your mind that u must rotate fluid adjacent to impeller instead of impeller. there's good tutorial regarding this in fluent. u can get it like having a piece of cake.
good luck
