Default hex mesh by starting from a group of point

Hy, I would like to create a structured hexaedral mesh by starting from the coordinates of the centres of the cells. Is someone able to create it in a rapid way? If not, I think that I could do two different steps: first creating the volume and secondly creating the mesh. In this case, do someone know ho to pass from a group of point (that are the coordinates of the surfaces of the volume) to the entity faces, centred in these points, also in a cad program different from gambit? Thanks a lot, Giulia
