hi, you can create a surface on the bottom of your cyclone and you put the DPM boundary condition at that face as trap. Then when you will inject your particule you will get a report. Hope it helps

i mean when you inject your particule (iterate), your console should show : DPM iteration and then number of particles tracked , traped , aborted, escaped, incomplete. Thats what i was speaking about

yes Jack,

Thanks for taking interset in my problem. Yes, it shows while interating injected parclels, escaped, trapped,.....and other information. so, u mean thats u should use the console, injected and escaped ratios..........

okay, if thats the thing... in Report > Discrete Phase > Summary... we get the summary of the injections, in that it shows number of parcels, and then NUMBER OF PARTICLES... so, please clear me this thing please....

and for my Original question u shold suggest me to use the console report.

If u are in India, please give me a mobile number or ur any chat id....

Thanks & Regards, Prashant 99020 65608
