Default modelling airfoil flow near stall

Hello,

I am looking at a 2D case for now. I need to model flow from 0deg up to near stall.

Everything is fine until i get more and more trailing edge separation.

Currently i expect to have around 20% of separation on the suction side.

I am using the SST model (and might try the RSM).

My current process is to run in steady mode using an upwind interpolation on the momentum terms, when it's steady (separation is obvisouly not well predicted), I switch back to second order and solve in unsteady.

What typical value of time step should I use (Re=10000) ? Are there any papers around dealing with that?
