In Fluent, there are two metnods to resolve near-wall turbulence: near-wall modelling method that revising the turbulence model and wall function method that bridging the wall and the mesh nearest the wall.My question is: when using the near-wall modelling method, besides the reqiuement of the finer mesh near the wall, does the Fluent use the linear wall funtion to bridge the mesh nearest the wall and the wall?

not at least for epsilon, production and turbulent stress; if we take the wallstress at first mesh point is also function of y,u, then y,u are also not linear function to y plus, u plus.
