Hi there, I m working on in-situ Coal Gasification. Well, I m new to FLuent. i am aware of only basic operations in fluent. Can anyone tell me how to set up,Porous Media for Coal Gasiifcation (including reactions) for Packed bed reactor?

Dear Macy,

I don't believe that Porous Media is going to work on the coal gasification. As you want to model a packed bed reactor I probably try first Multiphase Flow (Eulerian - Eulerian) approach. And set reactions on the particulate flow.

It's a suggestion.
