Hi, Does anyone have an idea how can I model a random bed of monosized spheres of specific porosity in Gambit? Thank you, MM

Hi
I'm not an expert in the field, but can't you model this bed as a thin rectangle of a specific thickness in Gambit (fluid cell type), and then, in Fluent assign all porosity, permeability, resistences, etc. for it in Fluent? Regards |

AAA, I can do that for regular packing. I am trying to do that for a random packing and need to get a particular porosity of the bed before running fluid flow. Thanks
