hi all,
what cann i do when fluent say that i have a non-positive-volume??? thanks! |

Within fluent, nothin much, try Check grid or smooth/swap otherwise redo your mesh in your mesh generator. Often a smoothing there is enough.

In the gambit volumes panel, check volumes for both geometry and topology. In the results if you find any volume that failed - thats would the problematic volume.
If this fails make sure that there are no faces with very small areas from the tools panel. Even then if you still see a non-positive volume, try reading it in fluent 3ddp instead of 3d |
