Hi all,
Anyone could help me? I check the mesh in Fluent and appear: WARNING: non-positive volume exist WARNING: Grid check failed (I have hexagons in a circular pipe) I don't know how work this program in heat transfer… For the wall is a "Heat transfer Coefficient", this coefficient is "Global (U)" or of the medium ("h" of water for example)? The "free stream temperature" is of the medium too? Must I turn on "Shell Conduction" and "Heat Generation Rate"? The parameter for "pressure outlet" as "Backflow Total Temperature" and "Turbulence Specification Method" must I it determinate? Nice when somebody could help me. Thanks! Victor |

I think your dimensions is small and the size of divisions also small therfore the element volumes result in your mesh is very small since fluent have minimum value of element volume .Try larger values of divisions
Good Luck |
