When I use autosave option, Fluent hangs up. On Clicking Fluent windows, it writes the current case and data files and proceeds. But the problem is that when computer is left unattended, it hangs up whenever it encounters first autosave. It starts from that point onwards again when I click the Fluent window, but meanwhile precious simulation time is lost.

Are the number of iterations for both case and data the same? Try performing Autosave with another simple 2D case and see what happens.
