Out of Memory

Hi,
When I try to mesh my volumes I keep getting Out of Memory messages. I have 2GB of RAM, this should be enough. My voulmes are not particularly big nor complicated. I have tried almost all the meshing schemes and smaller interval sizes and counts too. Nothing is working. When I start the Gambit application do all the files in the working directory go to the RAM for access I mean all the files i have saved previously too. Is that why it is showing Out of memory even though I have plenty of memory. Another point: On system Information the details show Total physical memory is 2048 MB Available physical memory is 1048 MB So it seems that I do have plenty of memory available. Any suggestions please? Thanks |

How many cells would your model contain if this error did not occur?

Hi Jo,
I think about a million cells, the main problem is trying to mesh a problem, even with a very large interval size I keep getting this error message. What would you suggest? |
