Hi,

I am not solving a laminar flow problem. In that do surface roughness value matters? Since I am under predicting the pressure loss value in a system?

Where to input the surface roughness, I am not finding any place in wall BC.

Thanks

Surface roughness have NO influence on pressure drop at all in laminar flow. It is only Reynolds dependent: dP = rho * 64/Re * L/D * ½*V^2 -Dr. Flow Squad http://tinyurl.com/2gkjh8

Hi

You can specify roughness height and roughness constant in the walls BC panel

Hi AAA, You can see the message of Dr. Flow Squad. The flow is laminar. Chouaib
