I am looking for a meshed car geometry to perform simulations of flow around the car. Does anybody have a car geometry to share or know where i can get them. I know about the car geometry that is provided in the gambit tutorial guide, i do not want to use this geometry.

Has anyone created a car geometry by himself and mesh it in gambit ? That would also be great

hey..arjun m also doing the work a lil similar to you. but i m doing it for the front wings of Formula 1 car . .... did u gt the geometry frm anywhr ..please let me knw. bcz me to wants to have a correct geometrical model of any airfoil used for making front wings. plz mail me the link's or person's contact if possible. from whr u r ? m frm iit-delhi PG student. regards bharat V

I have not found the model yet and I am still searching for it. I will update you as soon as i find one. Btw I am doing a simulation around a car body. Have you done that before or do u know anyone who can has done it before ? I wasnt to know which solvers were used, the parameters and the models used. Pleae get back to me as soon as possible.

thnx for replying Arjun.. m also doing the simulation first time as a part of my M.Tech project in IIT-D. u can get the blue prints of car models on net from that u can develope the whole profile.
