I am running an unsteady case through a tube and would like to plot a 3D graph of velocity profiles at different cross sections. I would like to write a UDF to output velocity vs radius vs time. Does anyone have a UDF that would achieve this and also how to implement it?

You can do this all within a postprocessor e.g. fieldview.

I need to find a way to output my data. I know of two methods currently but both require a large amount of files. I would like to be able to output the data into one file. From there I know how to process this data. I was going to use: DEFINE_EXECUTE_AT_END for my UDF but am unsure how to access different faces to determine velocity.

You can try the Macro Lookup_Thread to find the face you wanted.
