Hi
I am running a case where 2phases are injected near inlet at the same velocities, with turbulent k-epsilon model turned on.This case is working fine with single phase and when I switch to multi phase flow,I am having problems with convergence. I tried the same multiphase flow case with laminar model also. It is not working. Appreciate your help in this regard. Thanks Sri |

You have to use transient for Eulerian and your IC should be physically meaningful (maybe a system at rest) . Start with small time step. Hope these help.

Dear Sri try k-epsilon model for multiphase flow, first of all reduce continuity underrelaxation factor to 0.1 or 0.01, and Vf to 0.3, when 10s of convergence comes then adjust your underrelaxation of contiuity to 0.2 and of vf to 0.5. thanks and Regards Engr.Arif
