Hello!
There is a C_WALL_NORMAL(c,t) macro available in Fluent for UDF purposes. Does anybody have any experience from using this? I would expect it to return a vector from (or to) the cell centre to (or from) the wall, which is normal to the wall. My first attempts have resulted in Fluent crashing when using this macro, however... Thanks in advance, Henrik |

It's actually just vdW-forces for particle tracking purposes. As far as I know, there is no macro available that returns the distance from a computational parcel in the DPM model to the nearest wall, so I will have to construct that vector myself I guess..?
