hi, while initializing , we specify zones to initialize. how do we decide a zone to initialize?
for my problem i initialized with inlet conditions since i had the data to at inlet. but initializing with "all zones" gave me accurate results. how do we decide which zone to be initialized in running a simulation? |

see ur initial guess should be as close as possible to the final results.. this will help in achieving a solution faster... if u initialize from inlet then u r assuming that all zones will have values of variables close to inlet... but the reality is that values will be the average of values everywhere in the domain.. so u should select initialize from all zones.
