The flat profile of residuals

Hello, everyone. Now I am trying to do Eulerian multiphase model in FLUENT. My problem is the steady state in a cirlinder, and I use time marching method where t = 0.05s ( It is implicit method, and the time step is lower than the physical one). However, I noticed that for each time step, the residuals especially the residual of continuity are quite flat after they reach about e-2. Did anyone meet such problem? Thank you in advance.

hi,
refine ur mesh (increase the number of nodes). or reduce to the time step. |
