Hi, I had to study turbulent the flow on airfoil by Fluent. I have try some turbulent model like S-A or K-e but they are alway unable to predict transition from laminar to turbolent flow, infact flow on airfoil is alway turbuent (I use Re=10^6) instead a preliminary study by x-foil show a transition point.
How can I implement a transition model in Fluent |

Flow over an airfoil has been predicted well using S-A and RNG k-e model with non-equilibrium wall functions. You need to see your quality of grid and correctness of boundary conditions you've set.
Information about unsteady formulation is given in User Manual. Following tutorials also will help you in understanding this. |

Well... I had test S-A turbulent model for a NACA 0012 and it seems to be good but the problem is transition, infact this model is unable to predict transition point on my airfoil.
