hi
i tried with the steady state formulation as razvan told and used presto scheme only, still its giving no change in the level of liquid in the bowl. i used the same mesh or case file as given in the tutorial problem given in fluent manual as 16th problem ,i just changed the unsteady to steady state and used presto scheme for discretization still no change in level of liquid though the solution is being converged .plz tell me whats the problem .either the issue is that i cant use vof model in a rotating bowl filled with some initial fluid level or what ? i am not able to get the reason behind it . if cant use then why not , why unsteady formulation should only be used for vof model for a rotating bowl filled with some liquid to an initial height of 1/3. plz guide me . regards Garima. |
