Hello there,

When setting an airblast atomizer injection, I'm getting an error FLUENT received fatal signal (ACCESS_VIOLATION). I have gone through concerned chapters of Fluent User's Manual for Fluent 6.2. Can anybody educate me about the possible causes at the earliest?

Thanks in advance. Prasad

Are you using a UDF? I have gotten this error when trying to address a variable that I didn't have access to.

Thanks Allan for your reply.

I don't use UDF. I have an annular tube and have to inject particles using airblast atomization model (available in Fluent). I get this error when I try to list the injection.

Allan, the funniest thing about my problem is I have used this provision of setting injection using this model many times before successfully! It asks for the location (coordinates of the point) of the injection plane. From my experience I learnt that this point has to be some where on domain. In order to fulfil this requirement I put a small meshed cylinder (separate from flow domain). It has worked before but now I am getting this error.

Thanks again for your time. Prasad
