Nu number = hD/k
where k is the termal conductivity of the fluid. h= heat transfer coefficient fluent cannot calclulte heat transfer coefficient on its own until and unless you provide the bulk temperature as a reference temperature to it. draw an rake, find the local bulk temperature and then put in reference value of temperature. now the calculated value of h or Nu is the correct local value where u have made the rake. In this manner you can find the value of Nu and any location by putting the local bulk temperautre. baa bye |
