To all the great minds out there,
Does anyone actually know how to model wall roughness in FLUENT?? I am trying to stimulate the effect of surface roughness on a cylinder and their effect on Vortex-Induced Vibration. Please. if possible, step by step instruction. PLEASE PLEASE. Tried one comment in this forum about the roughness, it doesnt work. Thanks a lot ! Ken |

My guess is that you would either establish this as a property of the wall boundary condition, or set it in the turbulence model. But let me check the user manual.
