To all the great minds out there,

Does anyone actually know how to model wall roughness in FLUENT?? I am trying to stimulate the effect of surface roughness on a cylinder and their effect on Vortex-Induced Vibration.

Please. if possible, step by step instruction. PLEASE PLEASE. Tried one comment in this forum about the roughness, it doesnt work.

My guess is that you would either establish this as a property of the wall boundary condition, or set it in the turbulence model. But let me check the user manual.
