Fluent error: Heap limit reached

I am doing a VOF simulation with a time step of 1e-06. Simulation was running fine for around 50 hrs, and after that it gave an error:
Error: heap limit reached. Cannot allocate additional chunks. Error object: () Any light on the reason and remedial measure will be highly appreciated.. |

memory problems remedy 1- if your computer runs on WINDOWS switch to LINUX
