Dear respected fellow Fluent and Gambit users, I'm currently doing my final year project, which a model was build up using Solidworks(3D modelling software) and i transferred it into Gambit for meshing. everything is fine until i wanted to face link meshes at the two sides of my model. i can't link face mesh the two sides and its written "Error: There must be one edge specified for each face loop". What should i do? Please do give opinions as soon as possible as i need it fast.. thank you in advance

When you imported the geometry from Solidworks, did you ensure that the geometry was translated correctly? Check that the faces and volumes are correctly recognized in gambit. (Go to face and click on the "i" icon) If not, you might have to re-create these from the edges. Often this is the case. -Phil
