Hi everybody Dear! I want to see the contours of STREAM FUNCTIONS.

The problem is that my problem is 3D so I donot

get any option for Stream function under Velocity

Cant it happen that I make a plane and observe Stream

Function contours on it? Please help me or if you have any suggestions?

The Stream Function is not defined in 3D since it is only a 2D flow representation.

Ok sir, I know that all. and I got your answer but cant I see Stream Functions on a plane. I am still annoyed because I saw a paper in which a 3D problem was done and stream functions were observed! Thanks

you can plot the "pathlines" for your 3D case... serves the same purpose for flow visualization.

Hussam is on a distinguished road
Dear Sir
My name is Hussam Ali Khalaf, postgraduate student in Iraq and Am currently working on “A Solution Algorithm for Transient Fluid Flow with Multiple Free Boundaries”
I have results for velocities values (u and v) in directions x and y for undular bore evolution (please, note the file attachment), rectangular uniform mesh (2Dimension, (i,j)=(22,10)) consists of 20 cells in the horizontal direction (length=12 , ∆x=0.6) and 8 cells in the vertical direction (height=1.6, ∆y=0.2).
Am supposed to draw velocity vector, streamline and stream function. I have a program TecPLOT, I have tried several times but I don’t fully understand how TecPLOT reads the results, would you please help me if you have any idea on how to go about it.
Thank in advance

Yours sincerely
