Laser vof melting solidification injection

I am simulating this, a laser beam heat the metal and creat a melting pool, then there are metal powders will be injected into the melting pool.

when doing this I encounter a lot of problem, like:

how to exert the moving heat source on the interface between air and liquid metal.

how to track the interface between liquid metal and soild metal.

how to make it possible to choose the same metal as the injection particle.
